The experience

What does a Bee Marie Photography session look like?

There are no rigid poses, no pressure to look a certain way and no expectation that you arrive already knowing what you want. Sessions are relaxed, collaborative and non-judgemental. The aim is simple: to give you photographs that actually look and feel like you.

Photography areas include performers (dancers, artists, actors and live shows), creative portraits for individuals, couples and small groups, and events and celebrations of all kinds.

Bee Marie is happy to travel across the South of England and beyond for the right project.

Performers

Dancers, artists, actors and live shows

Creative photography for performers who want their craft documented as it really is. As a dancer herself, Bee Marie understands movement from the inside and knows how personal a performer's work can be.

Creative portraits

Individuals, couples and small groups

Portraits for self-expression, creativity and confidence. You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose, and you do not need to feel camera-ready. That is the point.

Events

Celebrations, weddings and gatherings

Natural, observational coverage that captures the real atmosphere of your event, the interactions, expressions and unexpected moments that make it yours.

"One of my favourite things to do is show people how beautiful they are."

Why Bee Marie

Why people choose Bee Marie Photography

Not everyone finds it easy to be in front of a camera. That is something Bee Marie understands from personal experience as a dancer and performer. Knowing how it feels to be on the other side of the lens means sessions are designed around your comfort first, your photographs second.

Every experience is shaped around you. You can arrive with a clear concept, a rough idea or nothing at all. The conversation about what you want is part of the process.

The goal is not a perfect image. It is an honest one.

Common questions

Not at all. Many clients feel nervous or uncomfortable in front of cameras, and that is completely normal. Sessions are designed to be relaxed and low-pressure, giving you time to settle in and feel comfortable before any serious shooting begins. Bee Marie will guide you through the experience so you can focus on being yourself rather than performing for the camera.

Bee Marie photographs performers (including dancers, artists and actors), creative portraits for individuals, couples and small groups, and events such as weddings, celebrations and live performances. Sessions can take place in studios, outdoor locations or performance environments, depending on what suits the project best.
