I build every session around helping you feel like yourself. I photograph performers (dancers, artists, actors and live shows), individuals, couples and small groups for creative portraits, and events and celebrations of all kinds. I'm also happy to travel across the South of England and further for the right project.
There are no rigid poses, no pressure to look a certain way, and no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you want.
Sessions are relaxed, collaborative and non-judgemental. The aim is straightforward: to give you photographs that actually look and feel like you.
I've been a performer myself
Not everyone finds it easy to be in front of a camera, and I completely understand that. I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens, and that shapes how I work. I design sessions around your comfort first, and your photographs follow from that.
You can arrive with a clear concept, a rough idea, or nothing at all. Working out what you want is part of what we do together.
I'm not after the perfect image. I'm after an honest one.
Common questions
Not at all. Lots of my clients feel nervous or uncomfortable in front of cameras, and that's completely normal. Sessions are low-pressure and relaxed. There's time to settle in and feel comfortable before any serious shooting starts, and I'll guide you through it so you can focus on being yourself rather than performing for the camera.
I photograph performers including dancers, artists and actors, creative portraits for individuals, couples and small groups, and events such as weddings, celebrations and live performances. Sessions can take place in studios, outdoor locations or performance environments depending on what suits the project.
No. You're welcome to reach out with just the beginnings of an idea, or even just a feeling about the kind of images you're after. I'm happy to chat through possibilities and help shape the concept together before anything is booked.
Yes. I'm based in Bristol and happy to travel across the South of England and further for the right project. Travel within Bristol and Bath is included in my standard fee. Travel beyond that may involve an additional cost, which I'll always discuss and agree with you before anything is confirmed.
